Trial of Grievance:
Redwolf Versus Candyman
- 24-8-03
A Grievance was made, between Mechwarriors Candyman and Redwolf
The later had spoken in a way unbefitting a warrior of the Falcon, and accused the other of possessing not skill at arms, but a fool’s mind
Enraged, on the field Candyman challenged his opponent.
The Circle of Equals of all Clans was the place, that day the time
As Candyman mounted a Hell bringer, and Red wolf a Summoner
Wasting no time, they dropped within arms length of one another, taking their views and their honour onto the battlefield, their opinions made flesh.
Moving at range, the two fought with such intensity to make both avatars of iron and steel
Each enraged by the other’s actions
Once both were beaten and maimed, they closed in their Mechs, itching to defeat the other
Then to Red wolf’s dismay, Candyman revealed his mech more armed than he had shown
As the warrior fired streams of LBX blasts against his battle-scarred hull
Lacking in any weapons suitable for such combat, Red wolf continued firing, defiant to the last
Even when Candy cried a blood-curdling cry, he continued to fight until his mech was blown to the floor
Mechwarrior Candyman, knowing Red wolf’s worth as a warrior of their Clan requested little in isorla
He demanded that Red wolf apologize to him and another warrior, whom Red wolf had dishonoured
And to give his rede to control his rage on the comms during battle
That said, and the battle won, the grievance was resolved in the way of the Clan
